Heavenly Father,

I come before you with a heart filled with both gratitude and need. You are the Provider and Sustainer of all things, and I acknowledge that my times are in your hands (Psalm 31:15). Today, I bring before you my desire for meaningful employment.

Lord, you know the desires of my heart, and you are intimately acquainted with my skills, talents, and aspirations. Your Word encourages us to seek, and we will find; to ask, and it will be given to us (Matthew 7:7). I seek your guidance in my job search, and I ask for your favor in securing a job that aligns with your purpose for my life.

Grant me the wisdom to discern opportunities that come my way and the courage to pursue them with diligence. Your Word assures me that if I commit my work to you, my plans will be established (Proverbs 16:3). I commit my job search to you, trusting in your divine plan and timing.

Open doors of opportunity, Lord, that no one can shut, and lead me to a position where I can use my skills and talents to bring glory to your name. Provide for my needs and grant me favor in the eyes of those I encounter during this journey.

As I wait on you, I ask for patience, trust, and a spirit of perseverance. Your Word reminds me that you are a God who cares about the details of our lives, including our daily bread (Matthew 6:26-33). I place my trust in your provision and timing.

May this job search be an opportunity for growth in my faith and a testimony to your faithfulness. In the name of Jesus, I pray for your guidance, favor, and open doors in my job search.

Amen.
