Provide for the poor ones

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today with heavy hearts as we see the suffering of the poor and marginalized in our world. We know that you have called us to love our neighbors as ourselves, and we ask for your guidance and strength to be able to do just that.
We pray for those who are struggling to make ends meet, those who are homeless, and those who are hungry. We ask for your provision and protection over their lives. Help us to see them as you see them, and to reach out to them with compassion and love.
We also pray for the leaders and decision-makers in our society, that they may have the wisdom and empathy to create policies and programs that will uplift and support the poor. May they be inspired by your spirit to make decisions that prioritize the needs of the most vulnerable in our midst.
Finally, we pray for ourselves, that you would open our eyes to the ways we can help the poor in our own communities. Give us the courage to speak up for justice and to offer our time, resources, and talents to make a difference in the lives of those in need.
We humbly ask for your blessing and guidance as we seek to be your hands and feet in a world that is in desperate need of your love and grace. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Caro Padre celeste,
Veniamo davanti a te oggi con cuori pesanti mentre vediamo la sofferenza dei poveri e emarginati nel nostro mondo. Sappiamo che ci hai chiamato per amare i nostri vicini come noi stessi e chiediamo la tua guida e la tua forza per poter fare proprio questo.
Preghiamo per coloro che stanno lottando per far quadrare i conti, coloro che sono senzatetto e quelli che hanno fame. Chiediamo la tua fornitura e protezione sulla loro vita. Aiutaci a vederli come li vedi e a contattarli con compassione e amore.
Preghiamo anche per i leader e i decisori nella nostra società, affinché possano avere la saggezza e l’empatia per creare politiche e programmi che elevino e sostengano i poveri. Possano essere ispirati dal tuo spirito a prendere decisioni che danno la priorità alle esigenze dei più vulnerabili in mezzo a noi.
Infine, preghiamo per noi stessi, che tu apramo gli occhi ai modi in cui possiamo aiutare i poveri nelle nostre stesse comunità. Dacci il coraggio di parlare per la giustizia e di offrire il nostro tempo, risorse e talenti per fare la differenza nella vita dei bisognosi.

Querido Padre Celestial,
Venimos ante ti hoy con corazones pesados al ver el sufrimiento de los pobres y marginados en nuestro mundo. Sabemos que nos ha llamado a amar a nuestros vecinos como a nosotros mismos, y le pedimos su guía y fuerza para poder hacer exactamente eso.
Oramos por aquellos que están luchando para llegar a fin de mes, aquellos que no tienen hogar y aquellos que tienen hambre. Pedimos su provisión y protección sobre sus vidas. Ayúdanos a verlos mientras los ves y a comunicarse con ellos con compasión y amor.
También rezamos por los líderes y tomadores de decisiones en nuestra sociedad, para que tengan la sabiduría y la empatía para crear políticas y programas que eleven y apoyen a los pobres. Que su espíritu se inspire para tomar decisiones que prioricen las necesidades de los más vulnerables en nuestro medio.
Finalmente, rezamos por nosotros mismos, para que abran nuestros ojos a las formas en que podemos ayudar a los pobres en nuestras propias comunidades. Danos el coraje de hablar por la justicia y ofrecer nuestro tiempo, recursos y talentos para marcar la diferencia en la vida de los necesitados.
