Bless my brother or sister in faith

Bible references

Ephesians 1:17-18 (NIV):
“I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people.”

2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 (NIV):
“With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith. We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.”

James 1:5 (NIV):
“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”

Philippians 1:9-11 (NIV):
“And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.”

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before You today to lift up my friend who believes in You. I ask for Your love and guidance to be with them in all that they do. May Your strength and peace fill their heart and mind as they navigate through the challenges and joys of life.

I pray that You will surround them with Your wisdom and discernment as they seek to live out their faith in a world that can be challenging and discouraging. Give them the courage to stand firm in their beliefs and the boldness to share Your love with those around them.

I also ask for Your continued provision and protection over my friend. May they be blessed with good health, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to serve and glorify You.

Father, I trust in Your perfect plan for my friend’s life and I pray that they will continue to grow in their faith and find joy and fulfillment in knowing You. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
