We come before You, just as Jacob did in Genesis 28, with a heart full of gratitude and awe for Your presence in our lives. Just like Jacob, we have encountered You in unexpected places and have been overwhelmed by Your love and grace.
We thank You for being the God of our ancestors, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You have shown Yourself faithful throughout generations, and we trust that You will continue to be faithful in our lives today.
As we journey through life, may we always be aware of Your presence with us. Just as You promised to be with Jacob wherever he went, we ask that You will be with us in all of our comings and goings.
Like Jacob, we also seek Your guidance and protection. We know that our lives are in Your hands, and we trust that You will lead us in the paths that are best for us.
We ask for Your blessings, just as You promised to bless Jacob and his descendants. May we be a blessing to others and may we see Your blessings poured out on all aspects of our lives.
We also ask for Your provision, just as You provided for Jacob in his time of need. Grant us the strength, wisdom, and resources we need to face the challenges life brings.
Finally, we thank You for Your promise to never leave us. May we always be mindful of Your presence, and may we live in a way that honors and glorifies You.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
